Only if you have pre-registered your substances are you able to benefit from extended deadlines for registration – 3, 6 or 11 years respectively , depending on the tonnage band and substance classification. This means that during this period you can continue your exports to the EU and you have more time to prepare your registration dossier. If there is no pre-registration, phase-in substances have to be registered without delay to secure market access.

Can I still pre-register?

The dead-line for the pre-registration of phase-in substances closed on 30 November 2008. However, in certain cases pre-registration is still possible, for example in the case of a new substance on the EU market. To evaluate if you can still pre-register, contact EPPA.
